An unexpected twist of fate
Was what brought us together
Firmly believing in that
Treasured the gift so much
Things are never what they seem
The truth always hurts
Like a slap right in the face
Forceful and fatal
These happened for a reason
Awaiting the enlightenment
I'll come to terms with it
And emerge stronger and wiser
